Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, patient-centered care in the Level III NICU. The RN will use the nursing process, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy’s mission.

Certification requirements include NRP and STABLE; RNC-NIC is encouraged. Education must be an RN license in the hiring state or compact license. The role involves a 3:1 patient ratio and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• NRP and STABLE certification required; national certification encouraged.
• Relevant neonatal specialty certifications may be required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neonatal patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement care.
• Support family-centered care and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
