Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care under physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Required: CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential; PALS for ER staff; ACLS preferred. Mercy offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS required for coworkers in Emergency Room.
• ACLS is preferred.

Position Details

QualificationsEducation: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.Experience: None.Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices. Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.Preferred Certifications: Preferred Other:
