Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the NICU team. You will assess, plan and provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, attending deliveries with the attending and/or a pediatric resident, and assisting in admitting new patients to the NICU.

The role requires NYS PA license, NCCPA certification, and NICU experience, along with BLS/ACLS/PALS and computer skills. Per diem with varied hours.

Qualifications

• NYS PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• NICU experience required.
• Computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and provide patient care under physician supervision in the NICU.
• Attend deliveries with attending physician and/or pediatric resident; assist in admitting new patients to NICU.
• Perform admissions and general service discharges.
• Assist with starting IV lines.
• Enter data into NYS, Vermont Oxford databases and NICU log book.
