Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant or Pediatric Acute Care NP for the PICU to provide and coordinate comprehensive care in a fast paced inpatient setting.

The role requires NYS PA licensure, NCCPA certification, BA-PA degree and BLS. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, support family education, and participate in research activities as part of ongoing clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice as a Physician Assistant in NY with active license.
• Board-certified PA with current NCCPA certification and BLS.
• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies (BA-PA).

Responsibilities

• Educates patient and family to support health adjustments.
• Evaluates and adapts care plans per clinical standards.
• Prescribes in-hospital and discharge meds under NYS law.
• Coordinates clinical research and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintains PA board certification and CME requirements.
