Job summary

UPMC Harrisburg is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to support the NICU team. The role focuses on initial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing patient education for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within the NICU setting.

Responsibilities include chart reviews, treatment administration, progress monitoring, and discharge planning, with supervision of PT assistants and collaboration with physicians and care teams. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing in PA.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with NICU team and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts and perform initial assessments to guide treatment plans.
• Develop and administer PT interventions to improve function and reduce discomfort.
• Supervise PT assistants and coordinate care with the NICU team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and discharge planning.
