Job summary

The role requires an AMA-approved education, RRT, WA license, NBRC eligibility, ACLS/NRP/PALS, CPR, and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered (RRT) by NBRC.
• Licensed as an RCP with the State of Washington.
• NBRC eligibility to sit for RRT exam.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS credentials within required timeframes.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy/critical care.
• Internal candidates may be considered if they meet other criteria.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions.
• Manage ventilator therapy and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct clinical evaluation of care and establish therapy objectives.
• Work independently with limited supervision and coordinate with staff.
• Engage with patients, families, and physicians as needed.
