Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide adult and geriatric respiratory care in a homecare setting. You will assess, administer therapies, monitor progress, document treatments, and collaborate with physicians.

Expect ventilator and oxygen therapy management, equipment upkeep, and patient education for families. Qualifications include graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program, RCP license, BLS/NRP/ACLS/PALS certifications; RRT/CRT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• RCP license is required.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• RRT or CRT credentials are preferred.

Job description

Role Summary:
Provides essential respiratory care services to adult and geriatric patients, including assessment, therapy administration, and patient education. Performs diagnostic tests, manages ventilator and oxygen therapy, and ensures proper documentation of treatments. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare staff to monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Ensures equipment functionality, maintains safety protocols, and assists with specialized procedures such as bronchoscopies. Participates in staff training, quality control, and inventory management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
• Required Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Required Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Preferred Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
