Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU and pediatric competencies to join our team. You will perform respiratory care modalities and execute assignments in accordance with hospital policies.

Ideal candidates have NBRC credentials, Texas license, and current BLS; PALS/NRP are required within defined timelines. This role collaborates with students and supports our mission for excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, NBRC recognized.
• One year experience in Respiratory Care with NICU/Pediatrics training.
• CRT and RRT credentials by NBRC to be obtained on hire.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS provider required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• PALS required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred depending on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care with NICU/Pediatrics competency.
• Execute assignments under hospital and respiratory policies.
• May work with Respiratory Students in clinical care settings.

Education

Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, NBRC recognized

CRT, RRT by NBRC upon hire

Texas Medical Board license as Respiratory Care Practitioner

BLS provider

PALS within 30 days

NRP within 90 days

ACLS preferred
