Job summary

Qualifications

• Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Completed medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• A Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician or Patient Care Technician certification may substitute for the educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent data to staff in a timely manner.
• Promote infection prevention via standard precautions and proper hand hygiene.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document vital signs.
