Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Occupational Therapist in the NICU. You’ll evaluate function, develop care plans, and provide hands-on therapy tailored to premature and ill newborns.

Work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and family education. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, documentation, and professional growth in a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• BLS/BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• OTR or OT licensure required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes thoroughly.
