St. David's HealthCare, based at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX, seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to support NICU patients in a PRN capacity.

You will assess infants, craft individualized care plans with the care team, and provide evidence-based therapy aligned with each infant's goals and abilities. You will document progress, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure smooth transitions of care and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) or OT credential required.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and needs; develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed; thorough documentation reflecting outcomes.

Your role will include

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
