Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of licensed school of nursing.
• RN with at least 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant clinical specialty.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking RN skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in interactions with physicians, APNs, patients, and their families.
• BSN preferred.
• NJ State RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Nurse navigator collaborates with surgeons and providers to coordinate patient care.
• Ongoing assessment of patient and family needs across educational, financial, psychosocial, nutritional, and clinical areas.
• Connect patients and families to resources within the health system and community.
• Assess eligibility for clinical trials and facilitate access to care.
