Job summary

Candidates should hold an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing, and possess a current RN license. BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma of Nursing required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to obtain within three years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability for improving lives, teamwork, ongoing education, and dedication to high-quality patient care.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Deliver direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Delegate, validate, and evaluate care provided by other caregivers.
