Job summary

Prisma Health's Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC, seeks a Nurse Manager II for the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, budgeting and quality initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care.

You will lead a team of 50+ staff, implement policies, mentor clinical staff and collaborate with the Unit Medical Director to drive performance improvement. Day shift responsibilities include coordinating patient care delivery, staff development and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Nursing diploma or Associate degree acceptable if BSN enrolled within 4 years.
• RN licensure in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 24-hour management of a designated unit/service.
• Develop and interpret policies; schedule and supervise staff.
• Manage unit budget and human resources; ensure quality patient care.
• Coach and evaluate staff; participate in performance planning and improvement.
