Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center NICU/Nursery is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct, patient-centered care for neonates and families. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote developmentally supportive care and safe outcomes in a family-centered environment.

Required are an active RN license and BLS, with 1–3 years NICU experience; a accredited nursing program degree is necessary, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license (required) and American Heart Association - BLS certification (required).
• 1–3 years related NICU experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program; BSN strongly preferred.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-centered care using the nursing process; assess needs and form a care plan with evaluation.
• Coordinate care and direct assistive personnel to deliver safe, efficient, and timely care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; advocate for patients and families and communicate effectively.
