Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Nurse Apprentice for the Neonatal ICU unit. The part-time position offers 18 hours per week with shifts 3pm-7pm and 7am-7:30pm across varied days, including weekends and holidays.

You will assist clinical staff with clerical tasks and patient service coordination, and perform nursing care under supervision of licensed personnel. BLS certification is required at hire, and CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required at hire (AHA/ARC/Military Training Network).
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical tasks, receptionist duties, and patient service coordination.
• Provide basic nursing care and related non-professional services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
