Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team. We are recruiting for full-time day and night shifts across Critical Care, Telemetry, Ortho Med/Surg and the Float Pool.

Our ideal candidate is adaptive to change, eager to learn, and a strong team player under supervision of licensed staff. The position requires Idaho State Board Nurse Apprentice application, BLS certification at hire, and up to six months CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification at hire is required.
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge to care for all age groups (neonate to geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under supervision of the licensed nurse.
