Job summary

Sharp Mary Birch NICU is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift (7 PM to 7:30 AM) on a 0.9 FTE basis. The role emphasizes evidence‑based nursing care, teamwork, and family‑centered outcomes in a high‑acuity neonatal unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 year clinical RN experience (new grads may qualify under program).
• California RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to NICU patients and families.
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Mentor and precept junior staff and students as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards per department guidelines.
