Job summary

University Health in Kansas City, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the NICU team at Lakewood Medical Center. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, with a 6:45 PM–7:15 AM schedule.

You will assess patients, plan and provide care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor students, and ensure compliance with nursing regulations. Requirements include MO RN license, BCLS, and graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN and specialty certification

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
