Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, MO is seeking a compassionate NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the Lakewood campus. You will provide high-quality neonatal care in a fast-paced NICU, supporting acute and complex patient needs within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The role requires MO RN licensure, active BCLS, and a BSN or equivalent. This 24-hour weekly schedule offers growth opportunities and education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.
• If applying for a PRN position: At least one year of medical/surgical experience OR one year of prior experience in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
