Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Senior Nursing Attendant for the NICU on the night shift (37.5 hours). You will assist the professional nurse in patient care, support the unit environment, and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program or CNA with required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks and safety.
• Support environment, supplies, and equipment handling.
• Assist with data collection for quality and patient satisfaction.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures as needed.
• Provide responsive communication to patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in unit meetings and ongoing staff education.
