Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a NICU Associate to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team for full-time night shifts. You will prepare and deliver specialty infant formulas, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure compliance with sanitary standards.

This role supports feeding care for premature and critically ill newborns. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program is preferred, and current Mercy staff may qualify.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC preferred, OR enrollment in a healthcare career program through a high school curriculum, OR current Mercy co-worker.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver specialty infant formulas to NICU neonates.
• Interact with dietitians, nurses, physicians and family members; adhere to sanitary regulations and standards.
