Intermountain Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician to support the patient care team in the Critical Care and Emergency Department environments. You will assist with critical tasks, monitor patients, and coordinate with RNs and physicians under supervision.

This role emphasizes prompt patient care, accurate data recording, and maintaining infection control standards. The position requires current CN A, EMT/Paramedic, or MA certification, BLS-HCP on hire, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• Current CNA Certification in state of practice.
• -OR- EMT or Paramedic Certification in state of practice.
• -OR- Medical Assistant (MA) Certification from an accredited program or with valid Intermountain affiliation.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene care.
• Perform 12-lead EKG duties and tasks within training.
• Apply, check, and document restraints as directed by RN or physician.
• Assist with transfers, admissions, and discharges with safe patient handling.
• Order and maintain floor stock and perform unit secretary duties.
• Record patient data and seek assistance for changing conditions.
