Job summary

Great Plains Health is hiring a Monitor Technician to support the Critical Care unit, focusing on telemetry monitoring and direct patient care tasks. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with preferred BLS/PEARS/CPI certifications, and the ability to perform transcription and unit secretary duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred certifications: BLS, PEARS, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring of cardiac telemetry and relay dysrhythmias to RN.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately into the patient care system.
• Provide patient care support and environmental/secretarial duties on the unit.
• Collaborate with RNs, Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, and Engineering.
