Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT is seeking a Critical Care Technician to support the patient care team in the CCU/ER settings. You will respond to care needs, assist with hygiene, obtain vitals, and perform 12-lead EKG duties under supervision.

You’ll help with transfers, admissions, discharges, and supply management, while maintaining infection prevention standards. Required current CNA/EMT/Paramedic/MA certification, BLS-HCP, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or MA certification in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification on hire.
• Point of Care Testing experience if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene.
• Document and report patient data, vitals, and condition changes promptly.
• Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges and maintain safety.
• Support with EKG duties, supply management, and unit secretary tasks.
