Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; valid compact licenses transferred within 60 days.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit-specific certification such as ACLS, PALS, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; BSN required within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status of patients.
• Lead interdisciplinary team to plan and implement individualized care.
• Coordinate staffing and resources for shift to ensure safe, cost-effective care.
• Mentor and coach staff; ensure accountability and professional growth.
• Monitor patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
• Activate chain of command, rapid response, or code as required.
