Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to participate in a transition into practice fellowship. The role supports a multidisciplinary NICU-focused team with comprehensive patient care, education, and research involvement.

The program includes structured mentorship, quarterly didactic sessions, paid employment during the fellowship, and a pathway to credentialed practice within our children’s hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Nursing for NP certification.
• IL APRN/PA licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
• History and physical examination, orders and interprets tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families; participate in research and scholarly activities.
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure best practices and care quality.
• Engage in ongoing credentialing and privileging processes.
