Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, with emphasis on safe, evidence-based care. You will design and adjust plans of care, mentor staff, and collaborate with the medical team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role includes participating in acute stroke education and adhering to regulatory standards; a sign-on bonus is offered and benefit of comprehensive Carle Health programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing; IDFPR licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Designs an appropriate plan of care incorporating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods relevant to presenting issues.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 policy and regulatory standards.
• Screens patients to determine therapy needs and uses support personnel appropriately.
• Completes annual education for regulatory program requirements.
