Job summary

A leading genomics firm is seeking a Reagent Formulation Scientist to develop and optimize reagent formulations, conduct quality control testing, and ensure compliance with operational standards. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in laboratory practices, troubleshooting, and a relevant degree. Located onsite at the San Jose headquarters, this role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in reagent formulation and quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot scientific issues collaboratively.
• Knowledge of regulated environments (ISO 9001/13485 or GMP) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize reagent formulations for sequencing workflows.
• Conduct QC testing of materials and reagents.
• Validate reagent performance using analytical techniques.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and QA to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate lab records and support data analysis.
