Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Manager of QC Development in California to lead the development and optimization of QC tests for reagents and kits used in CLIA laboratories. You will oversee tech transfer, data analysis, SOP authoring, and deviations handling to ensure robust assay performance.

The role requires a Ph.D. in molecular biology or related field with 4+ years in industry, preferably in assay development or QC labs, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Lead and optimize QC tests for reagents and kits.
• Author and revise QC SOPs and reports.
• Oversee transfer of QC methods from R&D to operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a medium-sized team to develop QC tests.
• Analyze data and document QC validation.
• Ensure disposition of affected materials with rational input.
• Provide technical support for deviations and non-conformances.
• Coach and develop staff; administer performance appraisals.
