The CTE Regional Specialist will grow the National Geographic Learning market share in K12 Career and Technical Education (CTE) by partnering effectively with the Secondary Education group. The incumbent will develop a sales strategy, ensure competitiveness in adoption decisions, and increase customer success with our products and platforms.

What You'll Do Here
  • Build and implement an effective CTE sales plan aligning with the Secondary Education team for CTE products sold in K12.
  • Develop a post-sale support strategy for print and digital products in collaboration with the customer success and marketing teams.
  • Create effective playbooks with marketing based on state and district logistics.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor customer activities against sales goals and account plans.
  • Lead customer meetings and sales discussions to close new business and retain existing accounts.
  • Work directly with sales consultants and regional managers on CTE selling strategies.
  • Manage RFP processes and build winning proposals.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Partner with editorial, technical, and marketing teams to ensure product and marketing success in the CTE market.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the product line, digital platforms, and the US K12 market.
  • Develop competitive knowledge to influence product positioning and development.
  • Involve CTE authors, advocates, or team members as appropriate.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between teams.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum five years of sales experience

  • Mentoring and development experience
  • Proven major-account sales ability in education or related fields
  • Experience with digital sales products/applications

Compensation

We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The full base pay range for this position is $67,000 - $86,000 USD, with individual pay varying based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and location. Sales roles may include incentive compensation beyond base pay.
