Job summary

Ahlstrom's Windsor Locks Plant seeks a Composites Technician to operate either the Spunbond or Film lines, ensuring product quality and routine maintenance from raw materials to finished goods. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and adherence to site procedures drives daily performance.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, with 2 years of college preferred, and experience in an industrial setting, particularly in extrusion-based processes.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 2 years college preferred.
• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience with spunbond, film, or extrusion-based processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Able to work in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and counterparts on other crews.
• Responsible for own safety and health and ensures actions do not jeopardize others.
• Follow written or verbal instructions; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Develop skills to a minimum of Technician Level II status.
• Participate in development of documentation for the Technician Progression Program (TPP).
