Job summary

The Arizona Cardinals Training Camp Assistant – Athletic Training is a short-term, full-time role based at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Facility in Tempe, AZ. This paid role includes housing, travel and selected meals for the duration of the camp.

The position supports daily athlete treatments, practice prep, equipment setup, and collaboration with medical staff during camp. Candidates must be enrolled in a college-level program, be able to lift 30+ pounds, and pass a background

Qualifications

• Prior exposure to athletic training or sports medicine.
• Demonstrates understanding when working with injured athletes.
• Maintains confidentiality around professional athletes.
• Effective communication across the organization.
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand/move for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in daily treatments of injured athletes.
• Preparing athletes for daily practices.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized Athletic Training Room.
• Set-up and breakdown of training supplies for practices/games.
• Communicating with medical staff about players’ health and injury status.
• Assisting with hydration of athletes during activities.
• Aiding staff during game day processes and road trips.
• Maintaining confidential medical records for each athlete.
