Job summary

The Arizona Cardinals seek an Assistant, Athletic Training to support the Athletic Training Department in a National Football League environment. This full-time, in-person role runs May 2027 through June 2029 and reports to the Head Athletic Trainer.

Duties cover daily treatments, practice prep, hydration, records, and on-road coverage. Qualifications include advanced degree in Athletic Training, CAATE-accredited program, and BOC certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s with completed Master’s in Athletic Training.
• CAATE accreditation is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily treatments of injured athletes.
• Prepare athletes for daily practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized Athletic Training Room.
• Set up and break down training supplies for practices/games.
• Communicate injury statuses to Head Athletic Trainer.
• Assist with hydration during activities.
• Manage game-day process for athletes.
• Maintain confidential medical records.
• Manage 5-6 student assistants during training camp.
