Job summary

The Arizona Cardinals in Tempe, AZ are seeking an Assistant, Athletic Training for a fixed term from May 2027 through June 2029. This in-person position supports the Athletic Training Department under the Head Athletic Trainer, with responsibilities across daily treatments, practice prep, and recordkeeping.

Requirements include a Master’s in Athletic Training or a CAATE-accredited program, and 1–2 years of sports-related AT experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training with a completed Master’s Degree.
• CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program completion or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily treatments of injured athletes.
• Prepare athletes for daily practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized Athletic Training Room.
• Set-up and breakdown of supplies for practices/games.
• Communicate injury statuses to Head Athletic Trainer.
• Assist with hydration during activities.
• Manage game-day processes for athletes.
• Maintain confidential medical records daily.
• Set up mobile athletic training room during road trips.
• Assist with supervising 5–6 student assistants.
