Job summary

Terros Health seeks an experienced Configuration Specialist to join the Revenue Cycle Management team in Phoenix. The role focuses on configuring NextGen in accordance with payer contracts, policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate billing and posting of claims.

You will report to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and collaborate across departments. Responsibilities include maintaining configuration docs, testing changes, and generating reports on claims performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of work configuration experience or related fields.
• Working knowledge of managed care operations and claims billing systems.
• NextGen EHR/EPM knowledge; NextGen certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure NextGen in line with medical policies, reimbursement rules, and contracts.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation and communicate processes.
• Create and test configuration changes through scenario testing.
• Analyze post-production reports and ensure claims payable accuracy.
• Assist in producing reports on claims performance and opportunities to improve revenue cycle.
• Coordinate with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management for audits and action items.
