Job summary

Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington is seeking a Part-Time NextGen Job / Premarital Program Coordinator for Virginia (24 hrs/week). The role focuses on outreach, recruitment, and engagement of Korean and Chinese American young adults to improve access to culturally responsive services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or substituted by relevant experience on a case-by-case basis.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops, presentations, or group discussions preferred.
• Ability to provide basic career guidance and employment readiness support.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage, and support Korean and Chinese American young adults in the NextGen program.
• Provide job readiness services, including career counseling, resume development, and interview preparation.
• Facilitate and coordinate premarital relationship education workshops and activities.
• Conduct outreach to increase program awareness and participation.
• Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and employers.
• Monitor participant progress and provide follow-up support for outcomes.
• Maintain participant records, collect data, and prepare reports.
