Menlo Church seeks a Part-time NextGen Coordinator to empower families and children across our Bay Area campuses. You will recruit and train volunteers, prepare classrooms, and support parents and staff within a matrix organization.

The role centers on proactive scheduling, safe experiences, and warm, welcoming environments on Sundays and through church events. The ideal candidate is organized, relational, and servant-hearted, able to collaborate with campus teams while maintaining healthy

Qualifications

• College degree or 2+ years’ youth ministry experience.
• Experience overseeing and developing staff and lay leaders in ministry.
• Experience working in a church with multiple locations.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, develop, identify, and multiply high-capacity volunteers.
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
• Team player with a vision for the whole church.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute events and services to reach the neighborhood and NextGen events.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and leaders.
• Collaborate with NextGen Team to ensure materials and supplies are ready for Sundays.
• Prepare NextGen classrooms weekly for safe and engaging experiences.
• Schedule student ministry volunteers and leaders for Sundays and related activities.
• Ensure volunteers are screened and trained and maintain healthy boundaries.
• Provide leadership to volunteers during Sunday programming and create a hospitable environment.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
• Foster positive relationships and live out staff values of teamwork, humility, hope, and grit.
