Job summary

Church at the Shores is seeking a Youth Pastor/Next Gen to lead Shores Students across middle school, high school, and college ministries. The role focuses on disciple-making, relational leadership, and systems to sustain ministry impact within a thriving coastal church community.

You will collaborate with parents, coach student leaders, and oversee events from weekly gatherings to camps, while modeling Christlike character and servant leadership in a welcoming, multi-generational church context.

• Must have deep love for Jesus and a passion for the next generation.
• Strong leadership, relational skills, and ability to cast vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shores Students with vision, relationships, and discipleship for middle school, high school, and college students.
• Oversee student ministry gatherings, discipleship opportunities, and outreach efforts.
• Preach and teach Scripture in clear, relational, and life-giving ways.
• Develop a teaching calendar and create content addressing real student issues.
• Recruit and equip a strong team of leaders and partner with parents.
• Plan camps, retreats, and special events; provide pastoral care as needed.
• Manage the student ministry budget and steward resources wisely.
• Communicate consistently with students, parents, and leaders.
• Foster prayer, worship, and mission within Shores Students.
