Job summary

North Carolina Assemblies of God is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor (Next Gen) to lead students in grades 6–12 into a vibrant relationship with Christ. This role involves planning youth services, organizing events, and developing student leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a calling to youth ministry, experience in leadership, and be aligned with church values. Availability on evenings and weekends is needed, as well as participation in camps and retreats.

Qualifications

• An authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to youth ministry.
• Agreement with the beliefs, mission, and values of the church.
• Previous youth ministry leadership experience preferred.
• Assemblies of God credentialed or willing to pursue credentialing.
• Complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead students toward spiritual maturity through teaching.
• Plan and lead weekly youth services and discipleship environments.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers.
• Provide pastoral care, prayer, and support to students.
