Job summary

Hillside Fellowship is seeking a NextGen Team Lead to guide middle and high school ministry. This role implements the vision, builds a scalable team of volunteers, and partners with families to cultivate gospel-centered environments where students grow in faith and mission.

Strong leadership, teaching, and strategic planning are essential. The position reports to the Director of Family Ministries, involves Sunday-Thursday scheduling with some evenings and weekends, and requires a commitment to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in ministry/theology/education or related field.
Minimum of three years in student ministry leadership with volunteer development.
Experience teaching God's Word and developing leaders is required.

Responsibilities

Lead NextGen vision and strategy in alignment with Hillside Fellowship's mission.
Oversee day-to-day NextGen initiatives with consistent excellence.
Develop and shepherd volunteer leaders and create a sustainable leadership pipeline.
Ensure safe, welcoming ministry environments and adherence to safety policies.
Collaborate with Family Ministries to support unified discipleship across Hillside.
Manage annual NextGen budget and monitor expenses.
Coordinate with Hillside Kids Team Lead for transitions into NextGen.
