Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred.
• Three years of experience in magnetic recording head, hard disk drive, or semiconductor Process Development.
• Experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements new photolithography processes for next generation magnetic recording heads.
• Implements process control schemes to ensure product manufacturability.
• Designs experiments, analyzes data, and develops recommendations for improving performance and yield.
• Partners with process and product engineering to deliver products and programs.
• Oversees technicians to ensure accurate process execution and wafer disposition.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
