Job summary

Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks an Associate Director, Donor Engagement, Next Gen, to build relationships with donors and volunteers and expand our philanthropic base. You will work with lay leaders to craft engagement opportunities, deepen connections, and grow support for local and North American Jewish life.

You will manage donor portfolios, contribute to a $25M+ annual campaign, and collaborate on outreach strategies targeting young adult donors and committees.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in annual fundraising, donor engagement, or related fields.
• Strong donor-relations skills and ability to cultivate prospects.
• Data analytics and data management proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen relationships with donors and prospects.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors to support a $25M+ annual campaign.
• Develop strategies for engaging young adult donors and lay leadership.
• Support onboarding of lay leaders and create materials and plans for committees and events.
• Lead and collaborate with volunteer leadership to advance engagement opportunities.
