Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks an Associate Director, Donor Engagement, Next Gen to deepen donor relationships and grow the FRD portfolio in a hybrid North Bethesda setting.

You will lead engagement with Next Gen, manage a donor portfolio toward a $25M+ annual campaign, and collaborate with lay leaders to expand giving and leadership across local, national, and international Jewish life.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in annual fundraising, donor engagement, customer service, sales, or relationship or account management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deepen donor relationships as a relationship manager with donors and prospects.
• Personally identify, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of donors to secure gifts via face-to-face solicitations as part of a $25M+ annual campaign.
• Create new methods and techniques for relationship building with initiative and responsibility.
• Onboard and welcome all donors, including Ben-Gurion Society donors, with support from BGS Co-Chairs.
• Lead lay leadership acquisition and engagement of young adult donors and volunteers through outreach and post-event follow-up.
