• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• WALB Producers DO NOT merely write news stories. We think of them as Content Creators - when they have the opportunity to tell stories on multiple platforms, including web, social media, and livestreaming.
• We have a digital-first mindset at WALB, which is why we have some of the top-performing digital metrics in the company.
• Our producers embrace creative ways to tell stories, using tools like Canva.
• We cross-train new employees to learn all aspects of our news delivery processes.
• Growth opportunities abound!
