Job summary

Gray Media is seeking an Executive Producer for WAND-TV in Decatur to oversee morning programs and drive high-quality, viewer-focused newscasts. The role will be part of the newsroom management team, coordinating content across platforms.

The candidate will supervise producers, ensure ethical standards, and post content to the station website. Flexibility for mornings, nights, and weekends is required to support a growing newsroom.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and demonstration of editorial judgment, journalistic ethics, and libel laws.
• Previous newscast-producing experience is highly preferred.
• Looking to grow into a leadership role in a newsroom.
• Strong grasp of problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
