Job summary

Cuez is seeking a Production Technologist to bridge product and live productions across news, sports, and events. You’ll wear five hats—from broadcast engineer to trainer—traveling frequently across the US and coordinating with our Belgium HQ to align hours.

Based on the US East Coast or Midwest, you’ll own on-site onboarding, design solutions, and hands-on field support, ensuring deployments run smoothly and customers stay live on time.

Qualifications

Newsroom experience required and able to work under deadline.
Hands-on rundown/automation experience for live productions.
Strong understanding of newsroom systems and workflows.
Willingness to travel frequently across the US.

Responsibilities

Solution design: analyze client workflows and define rollout milestones.
Pre-sales support: lead technical demos and answer tough questions.
Field engineering: install, troubleshoot, and support live productions.
Broadcast & news engineering: deep knowledge of newsroom tech and IP workflows.
Onboarding ownership: drive US customers to live onboarding.
Training & enablement: teach teams to maximize Automator usage.
Feedback loop: relay field insights to product and engineering.
