Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. in Akron, OH seeks two Co-Op Software Integration Engineers to join the Diagnostics Software Services team starting Spring 2027.

You will document, deploy, validate, and support newborn screening software in North American laboratories, communicating with customers and learning the science behind genetic screening. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Basic, with training plans if you lack experience in those tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.).
• Applicants must hold at least a sophomore status at an accredited university.
• Interest in health & life sciences industries.

Responsibilities

• Document, deploy, validate, and support newborn screening software applications for North American laboratories.
• Learn to use, configure, and support software while documenting customer requirements.
• Engage with customers to understand processes and provide training and assistance.
