Job summary

The position offers on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology–accredited certification, with opportunities to grow skills while supporting early detection of hearing loss in newborns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and educate parents on results and next steps.
• Ensure readiness of babies before screening to obtain reliable results.
• Collect data/demographics and document per protocol.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and site supervisor; notify about missed or refer babies.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
