Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an entry-level Newborn Hearing Screen Technician at Greenville Memorial Hospital. You will perform newborn hearing screens, educate families about the process, and ensure complete documentation across shifts.

Responsibilities include data collection, scheduling follow-up appointments, and coordinating with the HS Manager to ensure timely reporting. Weekend work and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential for accurate screening and documentation.
• Ability to work weekends and national holidays and to lift moderate weights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and provide parent education on screening relevance.
• Collect demographics, ensure screen readiness, and document results per protocol.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies and report results to the supervising team.
